Katie Pyle's Wikipedia Page

General Information:

Name: Katie Pyle

Born: April 6, 1988

(San Francisco, California)

Early Childhood

Katie was born in San Francisco California to parents, mother Elana Krausz and father David Pyle. She grew up as the middle child in-between brother Simon who is five years her senior and sister Lorna who is two years her junior. Katie’s mother is an actress/filmmaker and her father is a real estate developer for Krausz Companies, Inc. Growing up, her parents did a lot of commuter work to Los Angles. She spend most of her summers in Malibu in a tiny shack on stilts to be closer to them. When Katie was only four years old her parents made a movie called At Risk. Her mother stared in it along side today’s Hollywood royalty, Vince Vaughn and Randy Travis. She dabbled in acting as a child, and obviously had talent running through her veins growing up with a mother who was an actress. Her drama teachers gave her only minor roles and she didn’t like practicing. So she moved on from her childhood dream of being an actress even though she had the talent. Not only does Katie have a gift for the arts, but she was also a child prodigy of sorts when it came to math. Scoring better on the SATs at the age of twelve then most high school seniors. She had a special gift when it came to math. After scoring so high on her SATs at such a young age she was awarded a John Hopkins CTY award. During her elementary years Katie attended Marin County Day School. This is a prestigious private school that Katie hated. She states that she was a nerd as a child. She says that she spent most of her youth skipping recess to sit inside and read. Obviously, all this childhood studying and smarts is what helped her out with her wise choice in adult-hood to attend Miami Ad School.

Adolescence

During Katie’s youth her parents separated in 2002. Her father stayed in the family house while her mother moved to Marin California. Katie started high school in the fall of 2002 at Marin Academy. During her four years of high school she started to get really into drawing and painting. She claims to be sort of a wild child during these years. In the sumer of 2004 she spent a summer with a family in Royan, France. Katie has studied French for ten years but still can’t speak much of the romantic language. Katie has many smarts but it appears that languages is not one of the strong points on her list of gifts. The following summer, in 2005 she spent the summer in New York City. While she was in New York she studied painting at Parsons School of Design. This summer experience is when Katie truly came into her own and formed into who she is today. This was a very special and life changing experience for her. Not only did Katie have a personal change in her inner being that summer, but her life changed when her mother gave birth to her half-sister Sophia. Katie graduated from her high school in the spring of 2006. After her graduation she went on a great adventure with her best friend back packing through out Europe for six weeks.

College Years

Katie attended Boston University in the Fall of 2006. During her four years in Boston Katie did lots of traveling. She studied in London in the fall of 2009. She also spent the summer of 2010 in Hong Kong, interning at Senses Group. Her official job was assistant marketing manager. While studying at BU she joined the National Advertising Competition team her junior year. She became the teams Creative Director her senior year. Katie graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Advertising. After graduating she moved from Boston to Miami. She started studying Copywriting at Miami Ad School in the Fall of 2010.

Katie is young and at 22 years old she still has so much ahead of her. She has been so many places and has done so many things. She has changed many paths in her short journey of life. If things don’t work out in the crazy world of advertising, she can always go back to her childhood roots, back into acting. She still has Vince Vaughn’s phone number saved just in case things don’t work out. Even the nerdy kid can still end up with the Hollywood ending someday.

The Story of Margret Price!

It was the summer of sixty five and it was the hottest summer San Francisco had seen since 1943. Margret never did well in the heat. She always said that her blood is as cold as her heart and that’s the way that she likes it to be. She did not think right in hot weather. Especially in the unbearable heat in which she was currently residing. Even with help from box fans and open windows it did little to subdue her. She caught herself wondering how much more she could take.

Margret awoke with a sudden jolt, she looked over at her clock and it was 7:25 am. The same time that it was every morning when she would wake. The sun’s rays creeped in through her shades, lighting up the entire room, as if there weren’t any blinds at all. The light from the crisp morning sun was to harsh for her fresh morning eyes to handle. The sunlight on her tidied bedspread reminded her of the half smoked joint left on her coffee table. This realization gave her a reason to get out of bed. The smell of the smoke filled her studio apartment. She decided to make some tea to soothe her throat. She needed to keep her throat at ease so she would not upset her amazing vocal cords. To her this was just another reason to loathe her gift. Margaret wasn’t much of a beauty on her outward appearance. What she lacked in pretty looks she made up for in her rich beautiful voice. This was her own beauty.

Margret knew that she never wanted to have regrets in her life. The thought of wanting to turn your life’s clock back totally repulsed her. She never wanted to identify with that kind of serious regret. She also knew that she was blessed with an amazing gift. The kind of voice that people were envious over. So magnificent that it could possibly make her famous around the world. Her voice as much as it was a gift, she also felt that it was a heavy burden. She knew with a voice like hers that she needed to embrace it and do what she was truly capable of. But something was holding her back.

Edna St Favorite poem!

The Dream

Love, if I weep it will not matter, And if you laugh I shall not care; Foolish am I to think about it, But it is good to feel you there.

Love, in my sleep I dreamed of waking,— White and awful the moonlight reached Over the floor, and somewhere, somewhere, There was a shutter loose,—it screeched!

Swung in the wind,—and no wind blowing!— I was afraid, and turned to you, Put out my hand to you for comfort,— And you were gone! Cold, cold as dew,

Under my hand the moonlight lay! Love, if you laugh I shall not care, But if I weep it will not matter,— Ah, it is good to feel you there

Through out the years

Promises are made.

The older you get

the more you see nothing ever stays the same.

Donʼt make too many plans.

And try not to shake too many hands.

Dream of the better days.

Always stop and watch the blue bird fly away.

Van Morrison's remake Wild Night lyrics!

Strap on your shoes and bow before the mirror

And you do your hair, light a smoke and laugh

And regarding last night trying to remember

All your bad decisions are erased from your memory forever

And everything feels so complete

When you toking out on the street

And smoke fills your lungs sends you flying, crying

Dooooweeeed, wild night is calling

Dooooweeeed, wild night is calling

All the girls walk by dressed up for each other

And the boys check em’ out and yell from down the street

And the people passing by stare in wide wonder

And the inside DJ blows out just like thunder

And everything feels so complete

When you toking out on the street

And smoke fills your lungs sends you flying, crying

Dooooweeeed, wild night is calling

Dooooweeeed, wild night is calling

The wild night is coming

The wild night is here

I’m going out and dance, come on out and make out

Come on out and dance, come on out, make out

Dialogues!

1. Bathroom;

-“Emily Anne Pickett! Did I not tell you that if I ever caught you smoking another cigarette again that I would cut you off!?”

-“Mom I really donʼt want to talk about this right now!”

-“Well you should care because I am being completely serious when I told you that Iʼm cutting you off.”

- “Okay, I think that we both have had a little too much to drink tonight. Do we really need to talk about this in the restaurantʼs bathroom!?”

-“I am just making sure you are aware Emily.”

-“I really did quit smoking when you told me to. Occasionally I like to have a cigarette or two after a few cocktails with close friends. You just so happen to catch me doing this. You are here on parents weekend Mom loosen up!ʼ

-“Yes, parents weekend, lets show your parent a little respect!”

2. Elevator;

(whispering) -“Debby, hey I think thatʼs Tom Cruise!”

-“ Yesss it is him! Look how handsome he is! He even has the mole on his face like Tom Cruise! See I told you that it was him!”

-“Tom Cruise doesnʼt have a mole on his face.”

-“Yes he does! I canʼt believe that Iʼm ridding on an elevator with Tom Cruise! Wait till I tell all the girls back in Wisconsin about this they will not believe it!”

-“Well you shouldnʼt because it isnʼt him.” -“Stop being such a downer it is him. I just know it is!”--“Tom Cruise” gets on his cell and starts to talk:

-“You know its more than just those fifteen glasses of chardonnay we saw her down, you know its more than that.”

-“Obviously. Who knows what kind of pain pills that girl is on!?”

-“If I were in her shoes right now I would be on her level, if not worse. I just canʼt imagine the pain that she is going through.”

-“ I know and that is why everyone is turning a blind eye away from the fact that she is blacked out at 3pm at her motherʼs wake. But how far can it really go, you know?”

-“I know thatʼs the hard part, itʼs really difficult to say.”

INT. MIAMI AD SCHOOL LOBBY- DAY

A girl is sitting alone on bleachers in a quite room holding her purse and a notebook. In a manic manner she starts to look through her messy purse. She appears to be unable to find whatever it is she is looking for. One hand still in her bag she notices the line of clocks on the wall above. As she begins to notice the clocks on the wall a calmer demeanor comes over her. She glances at each of the seven clocks on the wall. All with different times and different places. She finally see’s Miami Beach and the clock reads 2:25 pm. As she reads the time she places her purse down and sets it right next to her leg. She continues to sit on the bleachers. Arms folded and legs crossed just patiently waiting for something. She is sitting alone in the room and starts to check out her surroundings. As she is starting to notice all that is in the room with her, everything starts to get louder and louder as her eyes begin to wonder. She looks up at the bubbling fish tank with many colorful exotic fish swimming. Then she see’s two birds fluttering around in their cage jumping from side to side. As she sees the birds playing she starts to zone out. While she is watching them in their cage a sudden loud chirp from one of the birds, slightly startles her and takes her out of the zone that she was in. She quickly turns her head and looks up at the Miami Beach clock which now reads 2:31pm. Suddenly all she can hear is the loud clicking of the wall clocks. She sneaks another glance back up at the clock and looks disappointed to see that its only 2:32pm. As she is looking at the clock a side door starts to creep open from behind her. The sound excites her and she starts to rise from the bleachers.

Most embarrassing moment!

My most embarrassing moment was something that happened to me when I was three years old at my churchʼs preschool. This is where I thought for some odd reason, in my young mind that it would be a good idea to stick my head through the large prison style bars that were part of the schoolʼs front gate. After pulling my head through the bars I very quickly realized that I was not able to set my head free. Unfortunately I was stuck in between two large metal bars. My teacher panicked and proceeded to call the police to come and help release me from the bars that had trapped me. For about a solid ten minutes I surprisingly calmly and patiently waited to get my head out of the bars. I finally see my parents and the police and firemen of Bradenton Florida all coming to my help. Some how while everyone is watching and coming to my aid I managed to pull my own head out of the bars. This is a story that my family still laughs about to this day and that is why I think that this moment is my most embarrassing one.
